Domain Name Registration

It is important to choose a good domain name. At Graphic Affair we would suggest using your company name as a first option (if it is not too long), eg. for The Dive Connection have: www.diveconnection.co.nz. If this is not available you could always consider a different extention (eg: .com or .net) or add a hyphen: www.dive-connection.co.nz

If this is not possible consider using something that describes what you offer, eg. www.divecourses.co.nz.

The price for domain name registration is: $49 per year including GST

Hosting Services

We don't have web server here, but can recommend a host for your website. A web server is where your website files are stored. There is a monthly or yearly fee to store your files on this server. The size is determined by the number of pages, images, files (pdf, mp3 etc) that you need to store.

Up to 50 MB: $7.90 a month plus GST

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Search engine optimisation is work that is done to your website in an attempt to get your website showing up in the organic results (as opposed to the paid-for advertisements that can also come up) in major search engines. These search engines use complex, secret and ever-changing mathematical algorithms to rank sites and judge what site comes up in the first position.

I can provide examples of websites worked on by Graphic Affair and some of their key search terms so that you can see how these sites are ranking in the major search engines.

Shopping Cart

Today everything you need is achieved at the click of a button. Online shopping trends have totally changed the traditional way of shopping. We can add a shopping cart to your website so that your products are available for potential clients to purchase 24/7. There is a one off set up fee plus a small monthly hosting fee (to store all your information).

Keeping Your Website Updated

The great thing about the internet is that it is very easy to keep your information up to date. If you have a timetable to maintain, pricing that changes annually or new products being added to your range on a regular basis it is important to let potential customers know!

Graphic Affair can update this easily and quickly for you at any time. If you have regular changes we can organise a suitable and affordable monthly/quarterly fee.

Newsletters/Mailing Lists

Keep in touch with your clients - newsletters can be sent out to people who have signed up on the website so they get your updates and news regularly.
